Geosol
ABOUT
Geosol is a Geographical Information System (GIS) student project team from the University of Pretoria tasked with updating and extending a dataset for the Alaska community within Mamelodi. We aim to produce a web application that maps out the loaction of all the taps in the area, and allows app users to change and update the functional status of these taps within the community which is then displayed on the overview map and color coded according to status.
Rob Coppinger
Rob is from Durban, KZN and moved to Pretoria to go to university. He has a keen sense of adventure, enjoys playing and watching sport, playing the piano and socializing with friends.
Bridgette Kobedi
Bridgette was born and raised in Pretoria. She loves watching cartoons and loves good food (she's a foodie) and good company. She is a final year Geoinformatics student who is hoping to make a difference with this degree sometime in the near future
Samuel Motshegare
Samuel is a proud husband and a father. He spends most of his time with family and friends. He enjoys cooking, and most of the time taking a walk or running around his neighborhood.
Chantel Ludick
Chantel is from Welkom (That is in the Free State for those who don’t know). She is currently studying Geoinformatics at the University of Pretoria and hopes to get her degree by the end of this year.
Octavia Nhlapo
Octavia is from Soweto. She is a dedicated Geoinformatics student in her final year at the University of Pretoria. She's an adrenaline junkie always seeking the next thrill.
